Experiments with exotic fruit

The three brothers frequently set themselves new challenges that spur them on to further develop and diversify their farm.

Today their curiosity has led them to venture into a new area: they are trying their hand at growing exotic fruit. 5 acres of land have been turned over to experimental crops mangos, passion fruit and lychees.

The aim is to test whether the Mediterranean climate, combined with the soil on their land, can provide the right conditions to allow these varieties from far-off lands to grow and ripen naturally before harvesting.
